Hello, my name is Anne Skinner and I am a Life Coach with over ten years experience. Before training as a coach I was a working Mum doing the usual juggle of daily activities and the associated stress. Along the way I learned, and successfully used, a range of techniques which I now personalise to my clients needs. Although I can help with all aspects of life I specialise in stress reduction and confidence building. Through my confidential, supportive, non-judgmental coaching I will help you overcome your barriers and achieve a happier life.

The stress epidemic. Whilst short bursts of stress can enhance our performance the effect longer term can be harmful. Prolonged periods of stress can affect every aspect of our lives including; sleep, weight, mood and even suppress the immune system and lead to loss of confidence. In fact the World Health Organisation has called stress the 21st century epidemic. A major survey by the Mental Health Foundation shows that 74% of us have been so stressed in the past year we have felt overwhelmed or unable to cope. Yet we “fight” on to get through accepting stress as normal. It doesn’t have to be.
